About the Job

• Manage and oversee the PAM team's daily operations, ensuring timely response and resolution of user queries, service requests, and operational issues.
• Lead the processing and fulfilment of privileged access provisioning and de-provisioning requests, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and approved timelines.
• Govern the execution of access-related service requests and change activities in accordance with Great Eastern Change Management processes and organizational standards.
• Ensure the stability, availability, and operational effectiveness of IDM/PAM platforms.
• Drive the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of privileged access controls, ensuring access activities are properly monitored, audited, and aligned with security policies.
• Oversee change management activities for PAM solutions, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, impact evaluations, testing, and documentation are completed prior to implementation.
• Lead the resolution of PAM platform issues, providing guidance and coordination across support, infrastructure, and project teams to ensure timely remediation.
• Direct Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and operational resilience activities related to privileged access management, ensuring compliance with established procedures and recovery objectives.
• Manage audit, compliance, and governance activities, including evidence review, remediation tracking, control effectiveness assessments, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure PAM operations and processes comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry security standards.
• Take ownership of identifying business, operational, cybersecurity, and regulatory risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to strengthen the control environment.
• Monitor industry developments, emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and PAM technology trends to drive continuous enhancement of the PAM program.
• Escalate material risks, control deficiencies, and operational concerns to management while promoting best practices in risk management and security governance.
• Lead the review and enhancement of PAM architecture, platform design, and infrastructure roadmaps, processes and workflows providing strategic recommendations to improve security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute PAM initiatives, projects, and transformation programs to support the organization's identity security, compliance, and access governance initiatives and objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, product support engagements, and technology upgrades to ensure PAM solutions remain secure, supported, and aligned with business requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to PAM team members, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.

We are looking for people with

• High level of confident to handle the responsibilities of this role and contribute to the effectiveness of the IDM/PAM team.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT support, access management, or infrastructure operations.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Unix, AS400, and standard application platforms.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, CMD) to assist with access and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with RBAC principles and general access control methodologies.
• Understanding of access management principles, including account provisioning, deprovisioning and access review.
• Awareness of audit and compliance requirements related to identity and access controls.
• Experience or involvement in project coordination and handling routine implementation tasks.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the IDM/PAM domain.
