Helmed by Yvette Kang, winner of Malaysia Tatler’s prestigious ‘Most Promising Young Woman’ award in 2006, Yvents! has established a remarkable track record in the last eight years and is the undisputed market leader synonymous with presenting and staging large scale Broadway and West End calibre musicals and international family shows. In the last six years, Yvents! has established an excellent rapport and garnered the support of corporate sponsors, regulatory authorities, government ministries and royal families, venue owners as well as the national media in Malaysia, thereby consistently attracting tens of thousands of audiences to its shows.

Yvents! most recently secured the rights to and staged one of Broadway’s longest running smash hit musicals, ‘Chicago The Musical’ in Malaysia in November 2007 to critical acclaim.

In May 2007, Yvents! staged the world famous award-winning ‘My Fair Lady’ The Musical, by Bronowski Productions, in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Malaysian Government’s Visit Malaysia Year 2007 nationwide and regional campaign. The Star described the performance with the headline ‘A spectacular musical affair’.
