ABOUT SOLIDARIDAD

 

Solidaridad was established in 1976 in The Hague, Netherlands as a development organization. A lot of large and small companies, NGOs and small producers all over the world are now working with Solidaridad on sustainable supply chain development.

Established in 2008, Solidaridad South and South-East Asia (S-SSEA) provides scalable and economically effective sustainability solutions in agriculture and mining sectors in collaboration with governments, businesses and the community. Solidaridad aims to drive sustainability from niche to norm in Asian markets and among Asian producers in a way that can sustain people, planet and profits.

Solidaridad South and South-East Asia operates both in production and market sectors in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and Israel with more than 250 experts. Producing more food with fewer natural resources to meet the ever-rising and evolving demand is the ultimate challenge for the coming decades.
