The company was established in 1994 as a distributor and retailer of modular kitchen systems, before venturing into manufacturing business in 1998. Currently, the brand provides a fully integrated value chain from designing, product development and manufacturing, to the installation of kitchen and wardrobe systems. Its clientèle includes retail consumers, project developers, industry professionals such as architects and interior designers as well as overseas dealers.

 The company has made its presence felt in more than 20 countries; namely Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand and Dominican Republic.

 The retail network expanded to retail showrooms in Malaysia being the largest retail network chain for the kitchen and wardrobe systems in Malaysia.

 The company made its first mark in 2003 being the first kitchen manufacturer to receive MS ISO 9001: 2000. In 2008, the company became the first and is currently the only Malaysian kitchen manufacturer, to be listed on Bursa Malaysia, incorporated as Signature International Berhad.
