Shah’s Beach Resort 简介

Shah’s Beach Resort consists of a colonial era bungalow and 50 wooden chalets fronting the Straits of Melaka. It is located just 9 km from the historical city of Melaka and set in a quiet village.

 

It was officially opened on 5th December 1971 by the Honourable Tan Sri Mohd. Khir Johari, the then Minister of Commerce and Industry. Named after its founder, the late Tan Sri H.M. Shah, the Resort is still owned and managed by his family. Apart from the Malacca Rest House, it was one of the first and most premier holiday spots in Melaka.

 

The highlight of the Resort is its Parameswara Restaurant facing its swimming pool with a lush green backdrop and view of the sea. Gentle breezes and swaying coconut palms make it an ideal holiday destination.

 

The Resort is also a venue for seminars and meetings as it has a Conference Hall that can accommodate up to 100 persons. Buffet spreads and barbecues can also be organised for groups both at the restaurant and beach side gazebo. Apart from that, the Resort also boasts a Spa for health and beauty treatments, as well as a field for outdoor activities.

 

Shah’s Beach Resort also has a sister property in Petaling Jaya, Selangor called Shah’s Village Hotel. This 90 room hotel is situated close to popular business and shopping areas.
