Selangor Cheshire Home & Services 简介

Established in 1963, it's objectives was to maintain 50 residents of all races, religion and who are permanently disabled without any means or resources such as poliomyelitis, rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and osteogenesis imperfecta.  Selangor Cheshire Home is managed by an elected management Council, made up of volunteers under the leadership of a President.  Objective's: 1) To provide residential care 2) To provide rehabilitation and training 3) To create awareness and advocate for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 4) To promote support/ independent living for residents within the community 5) To promote community development programmes 6) To promote sports and recreation programmes 7) To raise funds 8) To provide Economic Empowerment training towards employment. Services - residential care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, counselling. Activities - Volunteer programmes, religious classes, sports, recreational and social activities. Training - Caregivers training programme, Economic Empowerment Programme, Independent Living.
