Reinhausen Asia-Pacific Sdn. Bhd., fondly known among its’ business peers as RAP, was incorporated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1996. RAP, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR), a world leading manufacturer of tap-changer equipment for power transformers located in Regensburg, Germany serves, as a regional administrative centre and official representative of MR in the Asia Pacific region.

In our vision and mission to meet the expectations of our customers in the region, RAP has invested heavily into its greatest asset - the people - who are trained and skilled in fields relating to tap-changers and electronics. RAP has a group of multilingual personnel who can converse in major languages that are spoken in the Asia Pacific region and always aim to be in close contact with our users, affirming our commitment and appreciation towards their valued custom.

Product & Services

Reinhausen Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd (RAP) is the base for all activities regarding the supply of products of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) in Asia Pacific. The main products are On Load Tap Changers, which is commonly used in big Power Transformers for the regulating of Voltage fluctuations. The ancillary products are electronic and microprocessor controlled Voltage regulating relays for stand-alone or fully SCADA communicable operation and stationary oil filtering units for On-Load Tap Changers. New products such as a monitoring unit for On Load Tap Changers (TM100), a Transformer Management (TMS), Power Quality Management (PQM) and transformer instruments (MESSKO) round up the product palette of MR. A major division of RAP is the after sales service of the products supplied into the area. Technical expertise transferred from our HQ to our office plus the ability to provide at site service to our customers through out South East Asia guarantees trouble free operation of Utility networks, energy generation and industries.
