Raleigh focuses on empowering young individuals to create lasting and beneficial changes in the communities they serve, as well as in themselves. The training provided for project and volunteer management was thorough, organized, and valuable. During my time in Sabah, Borneo, I participated in a project that involved fixing and installing water pipes to provide a remote village with water during the dry season. This experience was incredibly fulfilling and allowed me to immerse myself in a unique culture and witness the kindness and resilience of a community facing difficult circumstances.
