Preferred by Nature is a non profit organisation that originated in Denmark and now with over 260 staff and offices in over 34 countries. Our vision is a future where human choices ensure a sutainable future and we pursue this by building commitment and capacity for mainstreaming sustainability. Our work in centres on certification, nature conservation and capacity building. Through services and projects, we help businesses and consumers to adopt more sustainable practices. We have engaged in sustainability services for more than 20 years, working with well-recognised certification schemes such as FSC and SAN. In addition, we have set up our own schemes for carbon footprint management certification and LegalSource certification of due diligence in legal timber sourcing. We provide our auditors with high-level skills and competencies through targeted training. We also implement a number of conservation related projects in Malaysia and other countries.
