Our firm was established following the merger of Hew & Co and Tan Toh Hua & Partners in 1986.  The merged firm practised under the name of Hew & Tan until 22 December 1999 when it changed its name to Moores Rowland. 

 

On 1 July 2004, the firm expanded into East Malaysia when it merged with Wong Siew Chow & Co.  

 

Moores Rowland is one of the larger independent local firms of Chartered Accountants in Malaysia.  The firm employs over 60 professional and general staff, and operates from two offices - in Penang and Kuching.  In line with our philosophy, our professional staff possess university and/or professional degrees and appropriate practical experience.

 

Moores Rowland is more than just an accountancy practice that offers traditional accounting services. In fact we are well respected by our clients and our peers as business advisors single- minded in our quest to help our client increase their profits.
