The Millennium Group of Companies announced its plans for the development of Millennia City – the group’s flagship 100-acre integrated development that is set to transform the commercial and property landscape of Puchong. This will also be Millennium’s first commercial development project.

 

The announcement was made in conjunction with the signing of a management agreement with globally-acclaimed hotel brand, Hilton Worldwide. This agreement will see the introduction of Hilton Garden Inn, the first international hotel brand to be built in Puchong’s Millennia City that will offer upscale yet affordable accommodation to mid-market business and leisure travelers.

The landmark occasion was graced and officiated by Tourism Minister, Datuk Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen, who launched the project and witnessed the signing of the management agreement between Millennium and Hilton Worldwide.

 

The development is slated to commence construction in 2011 and will be the Klang Valley’s premier waterfront commercial development combining business, lifestyle and world-class accommodation in Puchong.

 

Millennia City will be built on a plot of land measuring 100 acres. It will comprise of M Square – a 380,000 square feet self-enclosed six-storey shopping mall that is linked to the 255-room Hilton Garden Inn, and a trendy 2.1 million square feet Street Mall comprising 13 blocks of six-storey retail and office units which upon completion, will be the country’s largest alfresco mall and the commercial heartbeat of Puchong.

 

M Square will also offer facilities and services that cater to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) market segment, and will feature a state-of-the-art convention hall with a 1,200 seating capacity.
