Malaysian Takaful Association 简介

Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) was established in November 2002 under the Malaysian Societies Act of 1966. It is a trade association which comprises all licensed Takaful and Retakaful operators in Malaysia as its member companies. The main objectives of MTA are to elevate public understanding and awareness about Takaful, to impose self-regulation with its member companies and to support the relevant authorities in developing a progressive industry.

As a trade association, MTA works actively to link up all its member companies with other stakeholders in the industry, such as Bank Negara Malaysia, relevant government ministries and other related trade associations.

The Association's affairs are managed by a permanent secretariat which is responsible to implement and oversee the execution of the industry-wide’s initiatives, regulatory requirements, social activities and public awareness.
