KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in developing and implementing strategic vision, planning, and deployment of office’s BIM culture/philosophy.
Assists to develop and implement ideas for improvement of BIM procedures, processes, and standards (develops standards manual, project templates, etc.).
Assists to research, develop and propose implementation of innovative solutions that maximize the capabilities of the available technology.
To create initial REVIT Project setup with workflow documents.
To set up new BIM files for each project and prepare for production team.
Work as part of a Revit/CAD support team to develop technical and graphic standards.
Develop and maintain Revit family content (families such as parametric, formula, nested and type catalogues) and content library.
Work with all disciplines’ vendors on content download and update to appropriate Standards.
Support linked views in multiple model situations.
Support compilation of linked models and other linked formats to optimize model development.
Integration of REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation).
Perform Beta-trials of Revit Add-ins and BIM platforms.
Timely production of Revit Modeling / AutoCAD production drawings for a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Cleanroom Interior Fit Out, and other trade design discipline as required by projects.
To export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
Conduct site assessment and measurements when necessary.
Responsible to produce drawings from sketches, samples, existing drawings electronic images along with written and verbal descriptions. Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
Assist the project team with the collaboration and coordination of other disciplines’ designs. Communicate effectively and offer cross-team support.
Liaise with all departments to obtain clear specifications for the drawings including elevation, plan view, side view, isometric and to incorporate information gained into drawings.
Timely production of HVAC system design drawings, construction drawings, as-built drawings and detailed drawings as required by projects.
Prepare presentation drawings, tender drawings and construction drawings as required.
Identify and communicate potential issues with manager or engineer in-charge.
Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate approved changes, if any.
Work under the direction of a design professional.
May take the lead on developing some discipline specific Revit modeling content for project.
Perform project design support functions in pursuit of document preparation.
Translates AutoCAD drawings into Revit model and provides modelling support to the project team
Support the monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance of the discipline model
Adheres to firm (or client) technical and graphic standards.
Ensure construction documents accuracy and completion based on discipline.
Print drawing sets for professional team and participate in discipline reviews.
Organize and prepare one’s own discipline model and/or content for Interdisciplinary Coordination
Meetings.
Provide training, mentoring and developing staff from other departments (i.e., design and project
engineers)
To adhere to all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality System.

KEY REQUIREMENT

Demonstrates proficiency in software related to BIM, including REVIT
Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD and ZWCAD
Able to execute well in Excel, Word and Power Point
Able to execute architectural drawing is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
