Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd (KBC)

Incorporated in Malaysia on 21st April 2003, Kemaman Bitumen Company Sdn Bhd (KBC) is a subsidiary of Kemaman Oil Corporation Sdn Bhd (KOC) and Tipco Asphalt Public Company Limited (Thailand).

KBC Corporate Office is located at Seksyen U1, Shah Alam, Selangor whereas it refinery facilities located at Telok Kalong Industrial Area, Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia, KBC’s bitumen refinery commenced its operation in 2008 to produce and trade petroleum and petrochemical products such as various grades of bitumen, Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO), Atmospheric Gas Oil (AGO), Kerosene and Naphtha.

With target production of 800,000 – 1,000,000 tons of bitumen per annum, KBC has become a key bitumen player in the region and reduced the current shortfall of bitumen supply. Through its partners, KBC has the benefit of access to the latest technology on bitumen, bituminous-products and its applications in road construction and maintenance. KBC also has access to established markets in this region for its products with strategic marketing partners and logistics support.
