Messrs K.B.Tan,Kumar & Partners consists of two partners namely Mr. Tan Khay Boon who is a graduate of University of London and has obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice from the University of Malaya. Mr. Raam Kumar the other partner is also a graduate of University of London and has obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice from the University of London. Both the partners have been in active practice since 1994.

Both of our Mr. Tan Khay Boon and our Mr. Raam Kumar are Mediators with the Malaysian Mediation Council and are involved in mediation involving insurance matters. Our Mr. Raam Kumar is also a member of the Medical Legal Council where issue involving medical negligence are dealt with. Both partners are also members of the disciplinary committee of the Bar Council.

At the moment the firm has two legal assistance Cik Maizatul Azlinda binti Dato’ Mohd Ali and Cik Nur Syazwani Binti Shabuddin both are graduates of the International Islamic University.

The lawyers in this firm are experienced in handling insurance claims, viz-a-viz, motor and non motor claims and we have conducted matters right up to the Federal Court.

Messrs K.B.Tan,Kumar & Partners is a merger of two established firms in Ipoh ie. Mogan & Co and Jeffrey Tan & Co. The Senior Partner of Mogan & Co the late Mr.G.Moganasundram who was an Insurance expert passed away in 1999 and the senior partner of Jeffry Tan & co Mr.Justice Dato Tan Kok Hwa is now a Judge of the Federal Court.
