Despite being Deaf, I am able to communicate and interact with both my boss and co-workers using my residual hearing. I can speak, albeit with a metallic ringing sound, and can also communicate through sign language using methods such as Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) and KIU. I have no issues with blending in with others, and modern technology tools further facilitate communication and interaction in the workplace.
