The Institute for Capital Market Research (ICMR) was incorporated in Nov 2017 as an independent think tank.

ICMR works towards the development of an inclusive, resilient and sustainable Malaysian capital market which benefits the overall economy. ICMR conducts its work based on a multi-stakeholder and collaborative approach with regulators, industry players and academia, drawing insights and best practices from international and local experts. ICMR’s research work is intended for a wide range of audience that includes policy makers and industry players, with output and recommendations that are practical and suitable to be applied by its stakeholders.
