Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving the sales process, and maintaining strong client relationships to promote the growth of our security guard services. You will be the face of the company in the marketplace, responsible for acquiring new clients and expanding our business footprint.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and research potential clients (e.g., malls, construction sites, hospitals, corporate offices, residential complexes) that could benefit from our security services.
Build a database of prospects through networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms.
Track market trends and competitor activities to find new areas for expansion.

2. Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and client meetings to understand security requirements and propose tailored solutions.
Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and resolve any service-related issues promptly to maintain strong client retention.

3. Proposal & Contract Management

Prepare and present customized proposals, service agreements, and pricing based on client needs.
Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process from submission to final negotiation.
Oversee contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial terms for both the company and the client.
Close deals effectively and efficiently to meet or exceed sales targets.

4. Collaboration with Operations Team

Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Ensure guard deployment meets client expectations and agreed standards.
Communicate client feedback to operations for continuous improvement.

5. Market Research & Strategy

Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs in the security industry.
Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on new market segments and expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and lead-generation content tailored to target markets.

6. Sales & Performance Tracking

Set clear sales goals, targets, and timelines and manage a pipeline of potential clients.
Regularly track and report on sales performance, lead conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Identify any challenges or obstacles in the sales process and implement solutions to overcome them.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration

Coordinate closely with the operations and HR teams to ensure smooth service delivery once contracts are signed.
Work with the recruitment team to ensure adequate staffing of security personnel to meet client needs.
Provide feedback to the operations team to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

8. Networking & Industry Involvement

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the security industry.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of the security services industry
Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or account management in the security services.
Strong knowledge of security services (guarding, surveillance, risk management).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives.
Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
Goal-oriented with strong analytical thinking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,900.00 - RM4,100.00 per month
