INTRODUCTION

IKOP Sdn Bhd (IKOP) formerly known as IIUM Pharmacy Sdn Bhd was established in 2003. IKOP is a subsidiary of IIUM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. In the beginning, the company was involved only in general trading and retailing of medicine and health products. The retail outlet served as the training ground specializing in Community Pharmacy for undergraduates at the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, International Islamic University Malaysia.

• Kulliyyah of Pharmacy building completed - 2009

• Plant GMP layout approved - 2006

• Installation and commissioning of equipment - 2010

• Letter of Conformance for GMP compliance - 2012

• Registration of first product – 1st May 2013

• Commercial production – June 2013 IKOP has the capability to manufacture various forms of    pharmaceuticals and related products including tablets, capsules, creams, ointments, emulsions, suspensions and liquids.
