A Penang-based public interest NGO working on international health and nutrition is looking for suitable candidates.

 

The small office is part of an international network, a coalition of 273 public interest groups, working in 168 countries, with the aim to reduce infant and young child morbidity and mortality through the implementation of the international Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes.

 

The office specialises in drafting legislation and other measures to regulate the marketing activities of baby food companies and coordinates monitoring of corporate compliance with international standards and national laws. Training, advocacy, research and publishing are important activities.
