An outstanding opportunity now exists for an experienced insurance professional to join the Asia Division of a leading Australian general insurer. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Development, the position is responsible for leading this iconic insurer’s market entry into Indonesia, culminating in an acquisition or joint venture.

 

Working with senior leadership on the refinement and execution of the Group’s market entry strategy for Indonesia, the role will carry-out a range of in-marketresearch, relationship-building and partner-selection activities.

 

The successful candidate will become the Group’s expert in the Indonesian general insurance market, and prepare papers and presentations on market dynamics and industry players. Actively developing contacts and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders in the non life insurance industry, this position will promote the Group and grow our reputation in the market.

It is anticipated the role will also participate in due diligence and valuation activities, and in transaction execution and related activities.
