SHUNKA is an urban Japanese Restaurant by inventing the philosophy of Reliving Tokyo, provides a complete dining experience from the most authentic Japan Cuisine, Matcha & Sake, the urban set up of interior and the most welcoming friendly staffs.

Shunka Restaurant incorporated in year 2010 and its core business served with affordable price Japanese Home Style Foods.   

The first Shunka Restaurant is located at Pusat Perniagaan Maju Utama, Bukit Mertajam Penang.

The company initiated SHUNKA Franchising field in Year 2011 and became a member of MFA (Malaysia Franchise Association) and appointed as committee for ARFF Northern Region as well.

Our rapid expansion was the result of unexpected popularity, and the FIRST wholly-licensed was set up in Raja Uda, Butterworth Penang in year 2012.

Fuyusei Industry Sdn. Bhd. incorporated in year 2012 located at Bukit Mertajam, Penang  which is a centralized kitchen which is to supply and ensure franchises and outlets material, ingredients, paste, sauces quality.

Year 2013, we incorporated Ittan Izakaya from the most authentic Izakaya, Sashimi & Soju. Restaurant located at Icon City, Bukit Mertajam Penang.

The SECOND Shunka was incorporated in year 2014, located at Pusat Perniagaan Seri Impian, Bukit Mertajam Penang.

It is in a rapidly developing place with residential houses around, crowed

Lotus's Store (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.  and AEON Mall Bukit Mertajam.

We also awarded Asia pacific Excellence Brand 2013/2014 & Consumer’s Recommended Award in year 2019.

The SECOND franchise located at Vervea, Batu Kawan Penang was set in year 2019 and the THIRD franchise located Burma Road, Penang in August 2022.

At the same time as the company expanded, Japanese style Yakiniku restaurant was established in September 2022 which is Yakiniku Ikki Sdn. Bhd. located at upstair of Ittan Izakaya, Icon City Bukit Mertajam.
