FIABCI Malaysian Chapter 简介

FIABCI was introduced to Malaysia in 1977 as the international networking arm of the Housing Developers Association (now known as REHDA). In the early years of FIABCI, the membership predominantly consisted of property developers who saw FIABCI as an association that could foster goodwill and understanding with international organizations and to allow local developers to build and exchange ideas on property development, marketing, new products and services. As FIABCI matured, membership became more broad based and today FIABCI has five Principal Members namely, Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) Persatuan Penilai dan Perunding Harta Swasta Malaysia (PEPS), Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA), Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and Real Estate & Housing Developers Association Malaysia (REHDA). The combined membership of these five Principal Members provides a tremendous depth of interaction among property developers, contractors, consultants, professional estate agents, valuers, homeowners and even some politicians. FIABCI operates chapters in 60 member countries, embracing 3,300 individual members, 20 academic members and 100 different national associations which represent 1.5 million members worldwide. FIABCI-Malaysia with its growing membership base seeks to provide a window into a world of excellence in real estate by sharing the efforts and successes of its worldwide membership to improve the quality of the environment and higher standards for Malaysians to enjoy in real estate.
