These managers often take credit for their staff's performance without rewarding them with recognition or opportunities for advancement. Incompetent managers who prioritize appearances over staff development are unlikely to groom their employees for future success. Despite their own shortcomings, they are quick to criticize their staff and focus on minor mistakes. This behavior is unprofessional and unethical, and contrasts with the overall positive reputation of the company and top management.
