There are some 750,000 registered companies in the country and the number is increasing at the rate of *0000 to *0000 companies a year. The law requires that each company must have one or more company secretaries. This ever growing service industry needs a large pool of capable people to provide secretarial service.

If you are not a member of a professional body recognized by law the fastest and comparatively easier way to become a company secretary is by being licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) as provided for in S.139A(b) of the Companies Act 1965. But you will have to satisfy CCM at an interview that you have a thorough knowledge of Companies Act 1965 and the rules and regulations made thereunder.

It is with this aim, that this 12 months Executive Diploma in Company Secretaryship and Management course is jointly organized by Universiti Teknology Malaysia (UTM) and C & S Corporate Solutions Sdn Bhd to give you a thorough grounding on the said laws. The course is run on part time basis on weekends in order not to interrupt with you work.
