Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology (CREST) 简介

CREST is the brainchild of a group of passionate people representation from the triple helix of 3 key stakeholders of Malaysia’s Industry, the Academia, and the Government.

Launched in 2012, CREST was formed to address Malaysia’s E&E needs to grow the Research, Development and Commercialisation (R&D&C) ecosystem through market driven collaborative R&D and Talent Development.

As a member-based platform, CREST Members are the backbone of the collaborative platform. To date, CREST has 110 members representation from the triple helix such as Clarion, Intel, Motorola, OSRAM, Northern Corridor Implementation Authority, Khazanah Nasional, Universiti Malaya, and Universiti Sains Malaysia, to name a few.

To be the Premier Industry-driven Center for Collaboration in Research & Development, Talent Development and Commercialisation for the E&E Industry to accelerate economic growth in Malaysia

MISSION

To advance scientific knowledge in the E&E sector through collaborative basic and applied research between academia and industry, forming a center of research excellence.
