Alpha testing is a type of software testing that is done to find bugs before

releasing a product to the general public or to real users. Acceptance testing is a type of it. The primary goal of alpha testing is to improve the software by

identifying and fixing bugs that were missed during previous tests [15].

This testing is referred to as alpha testing because it is conducted early in

the software development process, before Beta Testing. Alpha testing is usually

done by in-house software developers or QA personnel. It's the last level of testing before the app is launched into the wild
