Working as a waiter at a 5-star resort has been a completely new and enriching experience for me. I have had the opportunity to learn about both Western and Japanese dining etiquette, something that I had never encountered in a regular restaurant setting. In this role, I have learned valuable skills such as working effectively in a team, handling pressure during busy periods, and understanding and meeting the needs of customers. It is essential to remain alert at all times and be aware of everything happening around me. The most enjoyable aspect of this job is the opportunity to learn new things that I had never been exposed to before. However, the most challenging part has been adjusting to the fast-paced environment and sometimes slowing down my team due to my lack of experience in certain areas.
