An Accounts Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to accounting departments, handling tasks like recording financial transactions, maintaining records, and preparing reports. They also assist with tasks like invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and communications with vendors and clients. Detailed Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Record Keeping: Entering financial data, maintaining records, and filing documents.
Invoice Processing and Payment: Handling invoices, processing payments, and tracking accounts payable and receivable.
Bank Reconciliation: Comparing bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Communication: Liaising with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
Administrative Support: Providing general office support, such as answering phones, filing, and scheduling.
Audits and Tax: Assisting with audit tasks and tax filings.
