I appreciate how my boss and colleague value my opinions and thoughts, even though I am young. It is refreshing when my boss seeks out my input on important decisions within the company. I am given the freedom to make mistakes, as I have been told that it is through mistakes that we learn what does not work. I am treated with kindness and understanding when I do make mistakes, and encouraged to try again. The flat hierarchy within the company allows me to freely express my thoughts and opinions without being dismissed due to my age or lack of experience. I can respectfully disagree with my boss and colleagues and still receive a positive response and respect from them. I admire my boss for his desire to make a positive impact through his work.
