Listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd since 26 November 1996, Ann Joo has always been striving to stay competent within the industry by delivering the best quality of steel products and services to our customers. 

Our story begins in 1946 when the late Mr Lim Kah Seng founded Chop Ann Joo as a sole proprietor dealing in scrap metal. Growing over the years, we are proud to say that we are the first integrated steel mill in Southeast Asia to be ISO certified. 

Right now, the Group is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of steel and steel-related products. As the largest steel manufacturer in Malaysia, we aim to excel as the most cost-competitive and profitable global steel manufacturer in the near future. 

Understanding that diversity drives creativity, the Group is now housing more than 1,000 employees ranging from baby boomer to Generation Z in our manufacturing and trading divisions. With the belief that ‘working together is success’, we always encourage our employees to work with one another regardless of age, ethnicity, nationality, and gender as only in such way, we are able to create a harmonious working environment for all.
