AADCo Projects (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a private Malaysian company formed as a spin-off from research conducted by AADCo (Asia Aquaculture Development Co) (Australia) Pty Ltd. The company was formed to develop and commercialise sea cucumber aquaculture system for production of premium quality trepang. This project is developed under the business incubator program of the FRI (Fisheries Research Institute), Pulau Sayak, Malaysia.
Our aim is to, within 3 years, implement commercially viable sea cucumber aquaculture that will:
• Allow a continuous production of good quality trepang
• Allow a better quality control on final products
• Achieve higher production rates
• Supply the increasing worldwide demand with a labelled premium quality product
