It is common for individuals to face situations where they have to make tough decisions between personal goals and family concerns. In your case, the job opportunity in the foreign company sounded promising and aligned with your interests, despite the early working hours and commute. However, your parents were worried about your safety and expressed concerns about the salary being too low. It is essential to consider both perspectives before coming to a decision. On one hand, pursuing your own aspirations and following your heart is important for personal growth and happiness. It is important to take risks and challenge yourself to achieve your goals. In this case, accepting the job offer would have allowed you to gain relevant experience and work in a field you enjoy. On the other hand, family support and their concern for your well-being are also critical factors to consider. They have a genuine interest in your safety and may have different perspectives due to cultural or generational differences. Their disapproval could stem from a place of love and concern for your best interests. Ultimately, the decision depends on your individual circumstances and value system. It could be helpful to have an open and honest conversation with your parents, explaining your motivations and the potential benefits of the job opportunity. Acknowledge their concerns and try to find a middle ground that addresses their worries while also allowing you to pursue your personal and professional aspirations. It is important to strike a balance between your own desires and the well-being of your family. Remember, it's never too late to pursue your dreams and make decisions that align with your own happiness. Reflect on your situation, consider different perspectives, and make a decision that feels right for you while maintaining open communication with your loved ones.
