Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Commis to support our kitchen team in preparing food and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and standards.
• Perform basic food preparation such as cutting, peeling, washing, and portioning ingredients.
• Assist Chefs and kitchen team members with daily operations.
• Ensure food is prepared and stored according to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Willing to learn and develop culinary skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
