Hiring: Value Creation Manager

About the role

Tinway Capital is an active investment management firm focused on unlocking value in Malaysian companies. We are seeking a Value Creation Manager to work on the ground with a diversified company in Pahang. Working under the guidance of experienced deal and operating professionals, you will support the transformation, financial restructuring, and value creation agenda post-acquisition. A rare opportunity to be involved in a full private-equity value creation cycle up close.

What you'll do (with expert support)

•  Support financial restructuring workstreams: debt refinancing, asset disposals, and capital structure optimization

•  Build and maintain financial models, cash flow forecasts, and contract management

•  Conduct analysis on assets, operations, and cost structure to identify value creation opportunities

•  Liaise day-to-day with the portfolio company's management state and local stakeholders

•  Track execution of the value creation plan and flag risks and slippage early

•  Prepare board papers, investor updates, and transaction documentation support

What we're looking for

•  5+ years' experience in finance, accounting, corporate finance, audit, transaction services, or related fields

•  Strong grasp of financing and accounting fundamentals — balance sheets, cash flow, debt structures (professional accreditations such as ACCA/CPA/CFA welcome but not mandatory)

•  Strong attention to detail and patience, comfortable owning numbers that decisions rely on and analyzing contracts

•  Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; able to build trust with local Malaysian stakeholders

•  Preferably willing to be loacted in Kuantan, Pahang (or travel there)
