Job Description

• Assist the Senior Project Executive/ Contract Manager/ Project Manager in estimating, budgeting & cost control of construction projects
• Conduct cost analysis and evaluation to ensure accuracy, fairness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, including preparing cost reports and highlighting variances between actual and budgeted costs.
• Source and liaise with building material suppliers, obtain quotations, and prepare price comparisons for procurement decisions.
• Conduct site visits for valuation, measurement, and verification of work progress.
• Provide support in pre-contract, post-contract, and other contractual matters to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contract agreements, and progress claims.
• Maintain proper records of all contractual correspondences, claims, and variations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• At least 2 years of working experience in quantity surveying, contracts, or a related field within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of pre-contract and post-contract administration, including procurement, tendering, claims, and valuations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits within Sabah

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
