Position Overview & Job Functions

We are looking for a Simulation Engineer to support and execute high-fidelity CFD and FEA studies across a wide range of engineering projects. This is a full-time, on-site role and the successful candidate would join our Malaysia office in Ipoh, Perak.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing CFD and FEA models, including geometry preparation, meshing, material properties, and boundary-condition definition
• Performing steady-state and transient simulations involving fluid flow, heat transfer, and structural analysis
• Post-processing, interpreting, and evaluating simulation results
• Preparing technical figures, contour plots, charts, and engineering reports
• Conducting model-verification checks, including mesh-independence studies and boundary-condition validation
• Working closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve modelling challenges
• Maintaining clear documentation of modelling assumptions, methodologies, inputs, and results
• Supporting the development of practical and technically sound engineering recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum one year of relevant working experience in CFD, FEA, engineering simulation, design analysis, or performance analysis
• Hands-on with CFD and/or FEA software:

a) ANSYS (Fluent, Mechanical)

b) Cradle SCFLOW / SCSTREAM

c) OpenFOAM / Abaqus/ STAR-CCM+ (At least one)

• Sound understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Solid Mechanics
• Familiarity with numerical methods and discretization concepts
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate simulation data and generate actionable insights
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing complex technical challenges
• Effective communication, technical documentation, and teamwork skills
