The Lorry Driver is responsible for the punctual transport and handling of stocks to and from destinations. The successful candidate will be based at Demak Laut Warehouse and must ensure all items match the Delivery Order and arrive in excellent condition.

1. Core Responsibilities

Distribution & Fleet Management

• Deliver scheduled and urgent stock/orders to restaurants efficiently.
• Verify that loading and unloading quantities tally exactly with Delivery Orders.
• Maintain truck cleanliness, update daily records, and ensure servicing is done on time.
• Ensure all products are handled and delivered in good condition following company guidelines.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all local regulatory requirements (Halal, DOSH, DOE, and Local Council).
• Practice high standards of food safety and quality during transport.

2. Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum SPM holder with valid D and GDL licenses.
• At least one year of driving experience with a clean traffic record.
• Basic writing skills for reporting and logbook maintenance.

Physical & Mental Traits

• Physically fit (no chronic illness) and mentally healthy.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful driving situations.

3. Work Environment & Expectations

• Fast-paced role requiring efficiency and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays during peak seasons.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month

• Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Driver: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• GDL License (Required)
