Role Description The Contract Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarawak, Malaysia. This role oversees the end-to-end contract lifecycle for projects, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project objectives. The Contract Manager collaborates closely with project managers, procurement teams, legal advisors, and external partners to manage contract terms, variations, and claims, while monitoring performance against contractual obligations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate contract documentation, tracking key milestones and deliverables, identifying risks, advising stakeholders on contractual matters, and supporting resolution of disputes. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of contract management processes and supports reporting to senior leadership on contract status and commercial outcomes.
Qualifications

• Strong contract management and administration skills, including experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to infrastructure, hospitality, or construction projects, with the ability to interpret and apply contract terms.
• Proficiency in project coordination and stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Competence in financial and risk analysis related to contracts, including budgeting, cost tracking, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and strong documentation practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Sarawak, Malaysia, managing multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in contract or commercial management are an advantage.
• Prior experience in contract management within infrastructure, construction, hospitality, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, integrity in handling confidential information, and commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
