Overview

FFM Farms Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and hands-on Coordinator, Farm (Layer & Breeder) to support and coordinate daily farm operations across layer and breeder farming activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production performance, coordinating husbandry and operational activities, ensuring compliance with biosecurity and quality standards, and supporting the development of farm employees.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal husbandry, farm management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in modern poultry farming systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily farm operations, work schedules, and operational activities.
• Monitor production performance and ensure achievement of farm productivity targets.
• Support planning and implementation of flock husbandry, health, and veterinary programs.
• Work closely with Farm Veterinarians, Flock Leaders, maintenance personnel, and farm workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure farm produce and outputs meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor and maintain farm resources, including livestock, feed, equipment, machinery, vehicles, buildings, and utilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of farm operational data.
• Coordinate and support hatchery production quality activities where applicable.
• Conduct training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing sessions for farm employees and workers.
• Review, update, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), biosecurity requirements, myGAP standards, ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping, security, animal welfare, and safe working conditions within the farm.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform any other duties assigned by farm management.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in farm operations or related agricultural environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry and farm management practices.
• Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in SOP implementation, process improvement, and compliance management.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing operational requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive will be an added advantage.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational excellence.
