Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Raia Beach Resort Port Dickson. This position oversees day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting to support hotel performance and strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager prepares monthly and annual accounts, monitors expenses and revenues, and ensures accurate reconciliation of all financial transactions. The role is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with operations, procurement, and senior management to optimize costs, improve profitability, and support long-term business planning.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess core finance and accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data interpretation, trend analysis, and the ability to provide clear financial insights and recommendations.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of compliance and control practices, such as internal controls, audit coordination, adherence to accounting standards, and familiarity with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in financial systems and tools, including accounting software, spreadsheets, and IDB system hotel management.
  • Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and support non-finance stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess leadership and organizational skills, including team supervision, workload prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Relevant academic qualification such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in hotel or hospitality finance management, or a similar service-oriented environment, is highly beneficial.
