Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ACMV Quantity Surveyor to manage our pre-contract tendering process, costing, and project commercial operations. You will be responsible for reviewing mechanical design drawings, performing accurate quantity take-offs, obtaining competitive supplier/vendor quotations, and assembling winning tender submissions for commercial, industrial, and retail HVAC/ACMV projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract & Tendering

• Quantity Take-Off: Accurately measure and take off quantities from M&E drawings for ductwork, chilled water/refrigerant piping, VRF/VRV units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation fans, and accessories.
• Cost Estimating & Pricing: Build detailed unit rate breakdowns and cost sheets based on labor, material, equipment, and sub-contractor costs.
• Supplier & Vendor Negotiation: Solicit, review, and negotiate competitive pricing from equipment suppliers (e.g., Daikin, Midea, York) and specialized sub-contractors (ducting, insulation, electrical wiring).
• Tender Submission: Prepare and assemble complete tender documentation, including Bill of Quantities (BQ) pricing, technical compliance schedules, equipment specification sheets, and required administrative documentation to meet hard deadlines.
• Tender Clarifications: Attend tender interview meetings with clients, consultants, or main contractors to justify costings, answer technical/commercial queries, and present value-engineering options.

Post-Contract Support (Where Applicable)

• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and variation orders (VOs) to main contractors/clients.
• Assess sub-contractor claims and evaluate final project accounts.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
