Responsible for coordinating and implementing workplace safety and health programs to ensure compliance with regulations and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) policies and procedures
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with local safety laws and company standards
- Organize safety training, briefings and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses prepare reports
- Maintain proper safety documentation and records
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Liaise with authorities, contractors and internal departments on OSH matters
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field
- Possess relevant certification (e.g., OSH Coordinator / Safety Coordinator)
- At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and risk management practices
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented and proactive
- Able to work independently and in a team
