Professional Services Consultant – Prisma/Cortex Cloud

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: 12-Month Initial Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant – Cortex Cloud to join our Professional Services team in Singapore. This role is ideal for a cloud security professional with strong expertise in Public Cloud environments and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Cortex Cloud or other cloud security platforms.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will design, deploy, and integrate Cortex Cloud solutions for enterprise customers across the ASEAN region. You will also play a key role in developing regional Professional Services methodologies, driving cloud security best practices, and supporting customers in securing modern cloud environments.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing role requiring deep knowledge of cloud architectures, security frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy Palo Alto Networks Cortex Cloud security solutions within customer environments.
• Integrate Cortex Cloud into Public Cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Private Cloud(Kubernetes, OpenStack) environments.
• Lead customer migrations from legacy Prisma Cloud to Cortex Cloud, collaborating with Principal Consultants and Global Solution Architects to develop and improve migration methodologies.
• Serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cortex Cloud Professional Services.
• Develop and maintain Professional Services deployment methodologies and best practices in collaboration with global teams.
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to improve cloud security architecture, threat intelligence integration, and overall security posture.
• Integrate Cortex Cloud with existing cloud services and third-party tools to enable seamless automation and security operations.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and training to customers on Cortex Cloud capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering and Technical Assistance Center (TAC) teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Maintain solution quality by recommending upgrades, architectural improvements, and operational best practices.
• Manage project deliverables to ensure successful implementation within agreed timelines and scope.
• Travel within the ASEAN region as required to support customer engagements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering infrastructure and security solutions across Public, Private, or Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms:
• AWS
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience implementing or supporting cloud security solutions, preferably Palo Alto Networks Cortex Cloud or Prisma Cloud.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies including:
• Container orchestration
• Kubernetes
• Provisioning and automation
• Load balancing
• Auto-scaling
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud-native environments.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, senior stakeholders, and executive audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as:
• CISSP
• CCSK
• RHCSA
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer (PCSE)
• Microsoft AZ-500
• Palo Alto Networks certifications are highly desirable, including:
• PCCSE
• PCNSE
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including:
• MITRE ATT&CK
• NIST
• ISO 27001
• Previous experience in consulting, professional services, or customer-facing technical delivery roles.
