JOB DESCRIPTION

This internship is designed for an undergraduate student interested in how financial analysis and AIenabled knowledge systems are applied in real financial services settings, particularly in insurance and guarantee products. The intern will support analytical and knowledge-development work that contributes to ongoing projects, internal learning, and decision support. The role emphasizes structured thinking, curiosity, and the ability to work with evolving problem statements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Analysis & Modelling Support

• Assist with financial analysis related to insurance and guarantee products.
• Support the development, review, and organisation of financial models and assumptions.
• Help translate high-level ideas or product concepts into structured financial thinking.

2. AI Knowledge Base & Content Structuring

• Support the organisation and structuring of materials used to train an internal AI knowledge base.
• Assist in organizing, tagging, and summarising documents related to insurance, guarantees, and risk concepts.
• Help test and refine how knowledge is represented for usability and clarity.

3. Research & Documentation

• Conduct desk research on insurance, guarantee mechanisms, and fintech practices.
• Prepare clear summaries, notes, and basic documentation for internal use.
• Support ad-hoc analytical or research tasks as projects evolve.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current enrolment bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Is comfortable with numbers and basic financial concepts and financial modelling, even if still learning.
• Enjoys analytical work and thinking through open-ended questions.
• Has an interest in how AI can be applied in practical, real-world contexts.
• Can work with guidance but is willing to take ownership of tasks.

Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
