Purpose: Set the technical architecture and standards across OpAnalysts' growing engineering surface (data platform, AI tooling, integrations, internal apps) — the senior-most IC technical role, distinct from Engineering Manager's people-leadership focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Define overall data/systems architecture spanning pipelines, integrations, AI tooling, and internal apps
• Set and enforce technical standards (coding, documentation, data governance) across the engineering pod
• Review and approve major technical design decisions before implementation (architecture review function)
• Identify technical debt and platform risk before they become blockers to team scaling
• Act as technical escalation point for ambiguous or cross-domain problems
• Mentor senior OpAnalyst without formal people-management responsibility
• Contribute to technical roadmap

Requirements

• 7+ years in data/software engineering, with 2+ years in an architecture or staff-level IC role
• Broad technical range: data pipelines, cloud infra, integrations, and ideally applied AI
• Track record of setting technical standards that others adopt (not just personal best practices)
• Strong written communication — architecture decisions need to be documented, not tribal knowledge
• Comfortable operating without a direct reporting line to the people whose work they influence

Pay: Up to RM20,000.00 per month
