Job Scope – Control Room Operator / Control Room Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Monitoring & Coordination
- Monitor and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Receive, verify, and assign operational tasks to field personnel and drivers.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and third-party service providers regarding operational requirements.
- Monitor workforce deployment and ensure all scheduled assignments are completed according to operational plans.
2. CCTV & Security Systems Monitoring
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, GPS tracking systems, alarm systems, and other security monitoring platforms.
- Identify suspicious activities, security breaches, or operational abnormalities and escalate them immediately.
- Ensure all monitoring equipment is functioning properly and report any technical issues to the relevant department.
3. Incident & Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, alarms, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and security incidents.
- Coordinate with security personnel, emergency responders, and management during crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare detailed incident reports for management review.
- Assist in post-incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
4. Fleet & Logistics Monitoring
- Monitor vehicle movements using GPS and tracking systems.
- Ensure drivers comply with assigned schedules, approved routes, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide route guidance and real-time traffic updates when necessary.
- Monitor vehicle status, fuel usage, delays, and operational efficiency.
5. Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary communication point between drivers, security personnel, operations teams, clients, and management.
- Handle incoming operational calls, emails, and emergency communications professionally and efficiently.
- Escalate critical operational issues to the relevant managers without delay.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational logs, shift reports, incident reports, vehicle movement records, and daily activity reports.
- Record operational data accurately for compliance, auditing, and performance monitoring purposes.
- Ensure all documentation is completed according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Compliance & SOP Enforcement
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, client requirements, security regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Monitor staff compliance with operational procedures and report any violations.
- Support internal audits and compliance inspections whenever required.
8. Shift Operations
- Perform duties on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as assigned.
- Conduct proper shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations.
- Maintain constant situational awareness throughout the shift to ensure uninterrupted operational monitoring.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Support management in implementing new operational procedures, technologies, and security initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions, emergency drills, and continuous professional development programmes.

- Real-time monitoring accuracy and responsiveness.
- Timely incident detection and escalation.
- Compliance with SOPs and security procedures.
- Accuracy of operational documentation and reporting.
- Effective communication with internal teams and clients.
- Response time to operational and emergency incidents.
- Fleet monitoring efficiency and service reliability.
Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
