WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

At least 1 year of experience shooting and editing short-form video, or a strong portfolio if you are a fresh grad

Strong on CapCut. This is our main editing tool. You do not need Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci or After Effects

Comfortable using AI tools in your workflow. For example AI script writing, auto-captions and translation, AI voiceover, AI image or video generation, background removal, or AI-assisted editing

Basic understanding of framing, lighting and audio on a shoot

Comfortable being on set and directing talent or clients during filming

Able to work full-time, on-site at our Seri Kembangan office

Must submit a portfolio or showreel link with your application

NICE TO HAVE

Experience producing TikTok, Reels or YouTube Shorts that actually performed well

You already use ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Runway, HeyGen or similar in your day-to-day work

Photography

Own a camera body or lens

Can speak and write Bahasa Malaysia and English

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Shoot video content on-site and on location for our own brands and for agency clients

Edit short-form video in CapCut for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook

Use AI tools to speed up editing, captioning, translation and content variations

Add subtitles, sound design, trending audio and on-screen text

Work with the content team to turn a brief into a finished video

Manage footage, backups and file organisation

Hit a weekly output target of finished videos

Keep up with what is trending on TikTok and bring ideas to the team

WHAT WE OFFER

RM2,500 to RM3,500 per month depending on experience and portfolio

Salary review after 3 months confirmation

HyperGrowth Media & Academy is a Malaysian content and digital marketing company. We run TikTok content for our own brands and for client accounts across dental, health, F&B and B2B. We also train businesses and creators on how to grow on TikTok. If you like making video that actually gets watched and not just looks pretty in a portfolio, you will fit here.

Our office is in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, easily accessible from Bukit Jalil, Sri Petaling, Serdang, Puchong, Balakong, Kajang and Cheras.
