Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)

We are looking for a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS), with valid yellow book to join our HSE and project team

Job Description

• Responsible for the implementing and coordinating and ensuring site’s Safety, Health & Environment activities are in compliance with government regulations on site
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings
• Familiar with AGT & AESP for confined space as added advantages.
• Submit Safety and Health report to related authorities as required and attend HSE meetings where required.
• Manage, track and update all safety related documents
• Assist to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents & injuries
• Advise about accident prevention and occupational health to management and employees.
• Carry out assessment and plan strategies / policies on how risk could be minimized.
• Ensure compliance to safety on site
• Ensure PPE is being used at workplaces according to the regulations.
• Compiling statistics & produce reports of incidents to management.
• To undertake duties and responsibilities as so instructed by management

Requirements :-

• Degree/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in a related or technical field
• Valid Yellow book license & registered with DOSH (for SSS)
• Competent and well-versed with the latest Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Preferably at least 2-3 years of related site or project experience, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering field or site
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Knowledge and experience in working in Confined Space, Working at Height and HIRARC will be an advantage
• Willingness to travel or be based outstation on project
• Able to converse in Mandarin will be an advantage

Salary package will be determined by qualification, experience only shortlisted candidates will be notified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
