About the Role
We are seeking a committed and proactive Senior Executive, Human Resources (Generalist) to support the delivery of effective HR practices within a dynamic school environment. This role plays a key part in enabling a positive employee experience, supporting educators and staff, and ensuring that HR processes are aligned with the School’s values and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities to attract and onboard high-quality talent aligned with the School’s values and culture
- Prepare and administer employment documentation, including contracts, confirmation, and exit processes
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes to support new staff in integrating effectively into the School community
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
- Support payroll administration, including preparation and validation of payroll inputs, and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely processing
- Administer employee benefits, including insurance, allowances, and claims
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, providing guidance on HR policies and fostering a supportive and professional working environment
- Support employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism
- Assist in performance management processes and staff development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, and School policies
- Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance staff engagement and organisational effectiveness
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR generalist experience
- Experience within the education sector will be an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Experience or exposure in payroll administration would be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with academic and non-academic staff
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
